Antivirus Survivors 2003 Professional is a survivor-like action roguelike — also called a bullet heaven — styled as an early-2000s antivirus utility. Hordes of malware pour across a faux Windows-XP-era desktop while your weapons fire automatically; your job is to steer, upgrade and out-position the swarm. Per the official Steam page, a full run takes roughly 30–40 minutes.

Inside a run you grow level by level: each Level Up offers a choice of upgrade cards — weapon damage, armor, rerolls and more. Weapons sit on top of 50 drivers (weapon attachments), which sit under 62 plugins (the run-warping layer installed via the Plugin Installer). Demo Update 1.2 also introduced drag & drop — you can physically drag files around the map, Safe Folder included — and three stackable status effects: Heat (damage), Lag (slow that freezes at high stacks) and Infect (half of Heat's damage plus a weaken). Stacks tick every half second and decay 20% per tick.

Between runs, permanent progression comes from BeanZ, the meta currency, spent on 18 meta upgrades — officially called Ranks since the Warmfix update. Difficulty is layered through 5 protocol folders and 15 policies, with 200+ tasks as objective side-content. The launch build ships 24 weapons, 50 drivers, 62 plugins, 33 file types and 6 bosses or mini bosses.
