How Builds Work in Antivirus Survivors 2003 Professional

AVS03 builds combine 24 weapons, 50 drivers and 62 plugins. How the systems stack — and why our tested builds arrive only after launch verification, not before.

The three layers of an AVS03 build

Layer 1 — your weapon. 24 ship at launch; six are publicly named: Pinball, Solitaire, Mines, Firewall, Bubbles and Paint. The weapon sets your damage profile and, for the confirmed three, your status effect — Heat, Lag or Infect.

Layer 2 — drivers. 50 driver attachments modify weapons. The driver pool is where a single weapon becomes a personalized kit.

Layer 3 — plugins. 62 plugins installed via the officially named Plugin Installer warp the run itself. Plugins are the layer most likely to define what a “build” even is — the difference between a weapon setup and a strategy.

Around all three sit the run economy: file types, BeanZ and meta upgrades, and the difficulty folders in protocols and policies.

Why there are no tier lists on this site yet

Here is this site’s build policy, stated plainly: a tier list written before the game launches is fiction. Every “S-tier build” article published in the pre-release window is guessing at numbers nobody has measured. We don’t do that.

From September 28, 2026, this hub fills with tested builds — each one listing its weapon, drivers, plugins, protocol difficulty, and the game version it was verified in. Builds get re-tested after balance patches, and stale ones get marked, not quietly left up.

What a good pre-launch build plan looks like

  1. Play the demo to learn the loop — Firewall, Bubbles and Paint are demo-stage verified.
  2. Pick a status effect that suits you — the Heat/Lag/Infect trio is the confirmed mechanical identity of the game so far.
  3. Save your BeanZ instincts for real data — see BeanZ and meta upgrades.

FAQ

When will the best builds be published? Within the first days after launch, once runs can be tested against the full 24/50/62 pool. Each build page carries its verification date — the freshness stamp is the point.

Will builds differ per protocol? Very likely — that’s what 5 difficulty folders are for — but it’s a testing question, not a confirmed fact. See protocols and policies.
